Why choose Strategic Workplace?
Strategic Workplace is deeply committed to the best that mediation has to offer – empowering participants to exercise their power of choice, and offering processes that are anti-oppressive, anti-hierarchical and anti-racist.
Our approach considers this to be the true neutrality, and allows us to be omni-partial – this means that rather than being on no one’s side, we are on everyone’s side. As well, we take a strengths-based approach to our work as our experience has shown us that this is an incredibly effective approach.
We always apply a trauma-informed lens to all of the work that we do and are very aware of the realities of institutional betrayal and how to avoid it. Our goal is to effect transformation and we are deeply committed to bringing peace to the workplace.
Our highest values in the work that we do are authenticity, compassion, empathy and “ahimsa” which is the yogic principle of being non-violent or doing no harm, helping workplaces to becomes places of psychological safety and sites of justice.
